Is TradeSocial real trading?

No. TradeSocial is a paper-trading simulation for educational purposes only. You start with $5,000 in virtual funds and trade using real market data — but no real money is involved and no actual trades are placed on any exchange.

How do groups work?

Groups require a Premium subscription ($7.99/month or $79.99/year). You can create or join up to 6 trading groups with friends, family, or coworkers. Each group supports up to 8 members. Each member gets their own $5,000 virtual budget. As more people join, the group unlocks milestone bonuses — everyone earns extra virtual funds together.

How do I join a group?

Tap the Groups tab and choose "Join Group." Enter the invite code shared by the group creator. You'll be added instantly and receive your own virtual budget.

Can I have a solo portfolio and be in a group?

Yes. Your solo portfolio is completely separate from any group portfolios. Solo trades are stored locally on your device, while group trades sync with all group members via the cloud.

What market data does the app use?

TradeSocial uses real-time market data for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies to provide an authentic learning experience. Simulated trades execute at the current market price.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, all portfolio data, and group memberships. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Yes. We collect only what's needed to run the app (email, display name, and simulated trading data). We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
